Why do not have motorcycle Radar System.png.jpg

Why not motorcycle Radar System?

Radar is widely used in the automobile industry for safety features. MMW radar, plays an important role in the ADAS, enabling long detecting range and dynamic target detection capacity, no doubt that many drivers get great benefits from the MMW Radar system.
In August 2022, the Connected Motorcycle Consortium released
a white paper that examines how well Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for vehicles, the CMC’s study offered recommendations to help ADAS systems “see” motorbikes better out on the road.
Why don't we make a good Radar System for Motorcycle? Motorcyclists deserve more comfort and safety.
INNOVV is always willing to hear the voice of the riders, fortunately, after years of development, the new generation Radar system - the ThirdEYE, passed numerous tests and works perfectly recently. It’s time for us to introduce this use
-friendly detection system.

INNOVV Radar system for Motorcycle ---The ThirdEYE

Employing a millimeter wave radar with a frequency range 77-79 GHz, and combining the detected information with a software algorithm, the ThirdEYE can detect dynamic target vehicles from both sides of the motorcycle and the rear side, providing warnings with a visual alert and an audible warning in the dashboard.

BSD&LCA&RCW.jpg

BSD (Blind Spot Detection System) mode: the detecting range of the BSD mode is from 0.2 m to 6 m.

LCA (Lane Change Assistance) mode is defaulted on and will detect targets in a range from 0.2 m to 50 m when TTC (Time to collision) is less than or equal to 3 seconds.

RCW (Rear Collision Warning) mode is defaulted on and will detect targets in a range from 0.2 m to 50 m when TTC (Time to collision) is less than or equal to 3 seconds.

Velocity difference VS Warning Distance Chart

*TTC: Time to Collision

 TTC= 3 seconds

Warning Distance = TTC* Velocity difference

 For example:

 Velocity difference=10 km/h, Warning distance =10000/3600*3

                                                                             ≈2.78*3

                                                                             ≈8.34m

 Velocity difference=60 km/h, Warning distance =60000/3600*3

                                                                             ≈16.67*3

                                                                             ≈50m

150° Angle + 50 m maximum detecting range

Wide field of view: 150° horizontal detecting angle maximizing the detecting range, which helps the riders to get more time to react and respond to emergencies.

Detecting Up to 64 Targets

Up to64.png

Detecting 64 targets simultaneously in a 50m maximum detecting range helps the driver get more time to react and respond to avoid the accident.
