We are communicating with riders from worldwide everyday, and work together on new product testing, feedback, improvement. Some riders are knowledgeable, skilled and have a lot of ideas for new development. if you are one of them, why not let us know and work together to make the idea to be reality?
Smart rides enjoy the process of product development and more than happy to see the real products which was the rough idea in mind before.

As I own a Can Am F3 and as I have fitted a INNOVV K5 it is a awesome piece of gear, however for my ride even though my bike is large I am very limited for room with the DVR and short cables as all the cables are out in view under the front screen of the bike, it would be nice if the cables were longer up to one metre so that the joins could be hidden, this does not include the WIFI or the GPS and Mike. Just food for thought as all Bikes and Trikes are not the same as in length or width.
Innovv could make an ALARM, that could function together with the K5's GPS. That would mean that the motorcykel is safe driving with the dashcam - and when parked the alarm will sense movement and turn on the cameras (also the free of choice extra small one, mounted so it can record the driver/thief), the GPS-tracker, the sirene and send text messages/call the phone with coordinates.
In short - a very good and reliable alarm, that could connect and co-operate with your newest dashcam system.
Why not a K3 (perfect size to hide it) with 4K 60fps. K5 has the front camera in the DVR, difficult to hide it if you want/need to remove the SD card.
I want to install the DVR under the seat, easy to do it and easy of access. I want to use it more like an action cam, not only like a dash cam; could be nice to choose if you want to power the cam always or only in some situations (dedicated button in the remote?).
K5 DVR has short wires to connect the full system that make them difficult to hide behind the headlight.
Then, K7 must be:
- 2 small 4K 60 fps, front and rear cams.
- DVR to be installed under the seat (most of the bikes have a good space to do that)
- Remote with the option to switch on/off the system
- the other features that K5 already has.
And could be really nice if this new K7 will be launched before summer 😃
Thanks to all for sharing such a useful information here. I found your comments really helpful for me.
On the K3 you can connect a usb cable but it is behind the rubber seal where also the SD-card. It would be nice that you can leave the usb cable attached to this unit. Than you can connect a laptop directly to this device to download the files you want.
Ability to connect external microphone to the camera controller on handlebars.
IF you could make it so if you are connected to the WIFI of the K5 that the system would stay powered up so you can turn your bike off and down load the files?
I dig the updates on the K3, but I wish at least one of the cameras were enabled to support 60FPS. The sensor in the K3 cameras supports up to 120FPS, so it would have been nice for the DVR to support it.
K2 has GPS so why not see on the map where is my bike? If someone took my bike, I will see where is it. It will be I believe good help to all of us!
That is a waterproof 5" LCD monitor which can connect to Mobile phone and display anything from the mobile phone.
It can be firmly mounted on motorcycle instead of the mobile phone which need to put in or take out.
Let's check it and keep you updated!
support for faster wifi download, and an Auto AP /Station Mode, that can be used to connect to a home wifi, and if not available fallback to AP
watertight USB connection, so you can run a cable to a place where you easy can connect to phone/PC
option to get the camera with 2 short cables
integrated 12v power support so you do not need the external 12v to 5v converter
GPS tracking would be a nice addition. The GPS antenna is already there, I think it's a good start. To see the bike's location on the map would be awesome. I understand that that would be a subscription type thing with a monthly fee, and such devices already exist but to have it as a dash cam/GPS tracker combo would make this a must have for any bike.
Being able to use the system as a tracker as well as camera system.
Rock, I agree with Peter Sandford. A mic jack with a small mic and about 2 - 3 ft of cable would be a welcome addition on the K2. Other than that, I love the product.
If I have read the article correctly, OBD has no signal for break / turn signal. CANbus has this again.
Ultimately, both systems (CANbus / OBD) have their own advantages and disadvantages.
And then one of these systems must still be present on the bike.
yes CANbus is used more and more, but it is property and ther for hard to read and you do not want to make any interference, as that will quickly become a safety nightmare
but most cars/bikes that uses CANbus also have a OBD2 connector and that one is human readable meant to be used by a mechanic
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OBD-II_PIDs
but that will only work if your bike i modern witch mine is not
On the other hand, CANbus is being used more and more, I think this is the future.
If I have to work with a motor gadget's breakout box, then that is not possible on my K1600GT. Everything works here via the CANbus.
With a breakout box you also have to lay a lot of cabling. In addition, if I read 'data' from the CANbus, my warranty does not expire. The moment I start working in the original cabling, my warranty expires.
A CANbus-based system can also be adjusted more easily with software.
If you, as a supplier, focus on the motorcycle market, then you also have to keep up with developments in that area.
