C5 dual channel?

how about a mix between the two cams, fron and back camera with wifi to connect with the phone?

Two cameras with WiFi/ App, that is the upgrade of INNOVV K1.

Welcome to see the ideas and features expected.

I' like to see a bluetooth option on the K1 which would enable it to register the sound from my Sena BT comm. A wifi option to enable downloading the files without removing the microSD card would also be nice.

Also a firmware with less issues and some way to compensate for that reddish tint the video has.

Rock - what are the other features planned for the next version of the K1, and when can we expect it to be released?

Also, will the upgrade be the DVR unit only, or also the actual cameras? Having only recently purchased the K1, it would be good to be able to purchase just the upgraded components, rather than the whole package again

@ Viorel Lungu , Looks professional.

1) Bluethooth for connecting headset.

2) WiFi is for live recording review, and setting, Video download.

3) No video reddish.

4) Stable firmware.

Yes, those are on the list.

What bike do you ride now?

@ EY Kalman , So far, working on idea connection and spec/feature set up. INNOVV C5 has spent 8 months on development, so it could not finish end of 2017.

As discussion above, Trying to add more features to DVR, Lens design should be same.

You are welcome to share your experience with the K1, and exception from the upgrading.

@ Rock liu, You forgot the External Micro plug ...

This would be a real plus on the next K1 version.

@PascalPererira - better place for your comment would be in the K1 v2 thread :)

:)

I had originally commented in here, then split it out as I felt it would be better as its own topic!

Dual channel for the C5 would be a great idea for those who don’t have the space, neither need the additional display.

I would happily upgrade to one if it came out.

  • We had below discussions about two wheels on road- 1) Not treat equally, 2) Mirror on motorcycle is unreliable. 1. You are absolutely correct.  In many parts of the world, a two-wheeled vehicle, powered or not, is seen as part of the road-user environment and while they may not be treated as an equal to a four-wheeler, they are given some space and consideration.  2. There are two trains of thought here.  One is that yes, you are most correct in that many mirrors (stock or otherwise) do not still function as well as they could (size or placement); but, on the other hand, the mirror is just or should be just one of the safety aides used and should not be relied upon in any sense, making it (critical) that the head be moved and shoulder checks done – and while this, to some, is seen as an effort or perhaps distracting in some ways (which it can be), moving the head to change the point or better  yet, field of view, is for the most part, a very positive action that is a big contributor to maintaining a 360 safety environment.  Working from a somewhat fixed point of view (helmet or mirror sight-lines) is both limiting and dangerous…but its what many (many) riders live by.  So, again, having any aides can be positive, as long as they do not introduce a risk by themselves.
  • I think it will be very welcome if it will be possible in near future to develop 2k cameras with high refresh rate 60fps based on XAVC-S codec. In addition some changes to the camera holder which could have common connection interfaces to fit i.e. 1/4, ram, or GoPro. I believe this changes will shift status of this excellent idea of double cam powered by the bilke, from dash cam to vloggers area of interest. Do you (Innovv) have such a upgrade in you plans???
  • Would love to have an app on my Windows laptop so I could connect via Wi-Fi to the DVR and download videos directly to my laptop
