This is a brand new APP that will be available to all INNOVV motorcycle cameras.
In the future, you will only need to download an APP to connect different types of cameras.
ANDROID is now open for testing.
Please follow the steps in the file to update the firmware and APP versions, both of which are Beta versions.
If you notice any problems or wish us to improve, please post and let us know your phone model and running version.
Thank you!

is it still beta testing?
does it fit to K3?
Used new innovv app on Samsung 10S for K2.
Does the G-sensor only work with the new firmware(is it in production)
Seems the map portion not working properly.
status of I=Phone for K3 and up ??
Sorted, downloaded an APK loader
Trying to install apk file on my Galaxy S20 but when I click to open it comes up with file viewer which cannot open it. I have tried downloading from your link but it says link not available. Have it on dropbox and downloaded onto phone and my browser Chrome just downloads it but I cannot open and run it. Can you help please?
Does this work with the C5?
I am going to remove this firmware.
Have had a total reset of the K2 too many times lately.
Everything is then back in the basic settings.
Speed mp / h instead of km / h
Video format is TC instead of MP4
And so on.
Especially the fact that the video format is set to TS is really hopeless. This format is not recognized by dashcam viewer.
While dashcam viewer is advised by Innovv.
Can't see anything back, nor can it retrieve GPS registration.
In short, this firmware (FW version: K2.20200702.V0.74) is therefore not recommended.
Wonder about the development of the software in response to this topic.
@innovv Is anything more known about possible updates for the mentioned firmware and app?
I am very curious about the progress of the improvements.
Got an Android phone from work and did some first short testings, too.
Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018)
Android 9
K2 Firmware: K2.20200702.V0.74
App Version: 1.0_20200713
The App does not show the correct SSID. It always says "<unknown ssid>" instead of the correct "INNOVV_026a".
The new G-Sensor settings seems to be more pratical than the old one, as they are much less sensitiv. This should result in less false positives. With G-Sensor set to 1/10 I was not able to make the K2 detect a crash, though I slammed the K2 on the desk. With it set to 10/10 in detected a crash when knocking it on the desk. That's positive.
But the G-Sensor settings need more explanation in the App. What does 1/10 mean?. And which setting is more sensitive?
I like the debug logging, but there should be a switch within the app to turn it on or off. Though it does not take that much space, it would otherwise annoy users.
When browsing the videos on the DVR, there should be a "Select all" button to let the user mark/delete all videos at a time.
Wifi speed is still devastating slow.
That are my experience so far.
@Frostie, I saw on this forum that you are also working on the software. Do you know that this topic exists? Perhaps you can also make a good contribution to this.
@innovv Just installed new firmware and app.
FW version: K2.20200702.V0.74 App version:1.0_20200713
Samsung A7 with Android V10.0014.
Not yet tested with driving.
My experiences so far:
SSID can be changed into letters and numbers. Note, do not add a space in the name. As a WiFi point you will only receive the name that stands before the space and you can no longer connect to your K2. Only accessible again by installing firmware again.
Password of WiFi is now also possible with numbers and letters.
Shutdown time after shutdown now seems longer than before. Is now around 25 seconds.
Haven't checked this with a stopwatch so I could be wrong.
Wifi transfer speed is still low.
G-sensor is now better adjustable in 10 steps.
I also miss the indication for the GPS on the 'live' recording screen in the app. This green symbol was previously visible between the red recording indicator and the parking mode symbol. So now I cannot see whether or not there is GPS reception.
I also still miss the opportunity to see the signal strength of the GPS reception. Many GPS aps on my phone do have this capability. Given the many complaints about the GPS reception, I think this is a good addition to the ap.
If I want to open the ap after first checking the wifi setting of my phone, the ap does not open but I am redirected to the wifi settings on my phone.
I must close all aps before opening the Innovv ap when I click on the Innovv ap.
I was able to play a downloaded (older)video, track is shown on the map. Only the map itself is not displayed while I have an internet connection so that the correct map can be downloaded.
Only when I zoom out far I get to see a map, not Google maps but an Asian map, see the attached photo with the text at the bottom left of the map. My conclusion is that this map has no detailed information at my location.
Please set the app so that it uses Google Maps.
The new software also creates a folder called Novatek / LOG on the SD card and this folder is filled with 1024KB XXXX_dummy text files.
I don't know what the point of this is, but it does use too much storage space of the SD card.
After installing the new app I can no longer make contact between the old app and the K2.
The old app now always indicates that there is no WiFi connection between my phone and the K2. This WiFi connection is definitely there.
This problem remains after a restart (cold start) of the phone and the K2. So I can't compare further between the old and the new app.
No possibility to change the directory where downloaded images are saved.
Recordings are stored somewhere in my phone, while I just want them to be saved in a certain folder on the memory card in my phone. According to the app, files are stored in / sdcard / DCIM / INNOVV. This is not right.
Files are still stored in the internal memory of my phone, not on the sd card.
I hope to be able to test while driving soon. We are still waiting for good weather. ;-)
Edit 2020-07-25
Yesterday able to take a test drive.
After there is a GPS fix, the green GPS indication is visible again in the 'live' recording in the app.
I have now the idea that the video image is blocky in bright, uniformly colored areas (for example, clouds). Not visible in the attached photo, photo was taken with an older firmware version.
Furthermore, I could not detect any visible changes in this firmware version of the K2 at the first moment.
Downloaded the New Beta App and Firmware today... I'll check it out after work. Anyone else tried it yet?
