I assume the first step is to download the videos from the "Camera Files" while the system is started up and online. I see this puts them into "Local Files - App Vidoes"... but then what? I don't see an option to simply save the video to a place on the phone that makes it easy to get to when plugging the phone into your computer.
I see that if I click on each individual "App Video" under "Local Files" one at a time I have every option except to save the camera roll on the phone. I don't want to transfer these to any kind of "cloud" so is there an option to just save them on the phone so that I can easily plug my phone into my computer and copy them to my PC?
Maybe I'm missing something obvious.
Thanks

Frostie/MotoCam/other wizards, thanks for assistance and I do apologize for the mess I may have made of this thread. Your advice was very helpful and I wish to conclude my initial foray into the K5 setup by providing a report from a novice. I really like what I'm discovery about INNOVV and the K5. Can't wait to hit the road with K5 rolling.
To clear up some confusion.
>We do not have specific format for the INNOVV K5.
The K5 uses two different file systems for SD Cards, depending on its size.
If the SD Card is <= 32GB ==> FAT32
If the SD Card is > 32GB ==> ExFat
>The file path is for the files under the SD card. You could kindly locate this folder >when you put the SD card on a card reader instead of your phone.
The path the K5 uses for videos is DCIM/Movie.
I don't know what the "path" in the App means, but it does not seem to have anything to do with the real physical path. Within the K5, the Device Name /sdcard is mapped to A:. But there is no "INNOVV" within the path.
The Webserver of the K5 also does not show any "INNOVV"
I was successful in saving multiple MP4 format K5 video files to my iPhone Photo album "INNVOOs". I then uploaded these files from the iPhone to my OneDrive. I had to change WiFi connection for the faster upload to OneDrive. So, the TS formatted K5 video files will give a false positive Save to... message. (See screenshot of the INNOVV app where I downloaded multiple TS formatted video files to me mobile device. This download to the mobile system album may have went well from the INNOVV apps end but then the iPhone does something with the TS formatted files, like hide/delete, and the INNOVV app is not aware of the iPhones actions after the download.)
Frostie/sdhedrick, thanks for posting the above info. I have been spending time attempting to upload multiple files to a cloud via the INNOVV app. I was able to upload multiple K5 clips to OneDrive. I am also able to "download" from INNOVV app multiple selected TS format clips to my iPhone video album. It's all a bit sketchy right now and I'll be working on getting the steps and settings down.
I'm still thinking it is a long shot to upload multiple clips via the INNOVV app WiFi and that the best way will ultimately be to swap out SD cards. Oh, the uploaded clips from both iCloud Drive and OneDrive are accessible (from my PC and) to whomever I may choose to Share them with.
Update: I don't seem to be able to repeat any of the multiple selection uploads. I don't know if it is the INNOVV, my iPhone, or a cloud issue. I do know what is confusing about some of this:
1) When I connect to the K5 via USB the SD card is formatted exFAT and this is what the INNOVV app formatted. I thought it was supposed to be a FAT32 format.
2) In the INNOVV app setting "File Path" is "/sdcard/DCIM/INNOVV" and I'm unable to locate this folder anywhere.
3) When a multiple download event status message reads, "Successful download to mobile device system album" (something like that) I'm unable to locate any of the K5 clips ...other than in the INNOVV app's Local (folder?).
4) I know that on two occasions I have downloaded multiple K5 clips to my iPhone albums and they were saved to an album named "INNVOOs". (I don't recall creating that folder, but given the spelling, it would not surprise me that I did indeed create that folder.)
I'm working with an iPhone 7 version 14.4.1, and the INNOVV app was downloaded and installed this week, when the K5 arrived (3/9/21). I think I'm going to purchase lots of tiny screws and 512GB SD cards, and give up on the INNOVV app WiFi en mass uploads. I worked off of the k5/INNOVV app's factory settings.
More followup regarding "Save Video" with MP4 files since this is all a bit confusing.
When you select to "Save Video" you end up getting two files per video in your Camera Roll. An MP4 version and a MOV version. Not sure why as they both seem the same (from a video point of view). The file sizes are slightly different however.
So far i have yet to get any of these files working in Dashcam Viewer (the video works, but there is no speed or location data and the date/time info shown in Dashcam Viewer within their "data browser" for all Points is wrong as well... for me it shows either Feb 7th, 2106 or July 2nd 2106... and the "TimeLocal" is not correct either).
Just wanted to add a follow up here.
There is a difference with options if you use "TS" format (the default) vs. "MP4" format for the videos.
The info above for me all revolved around "TS" format.
Just now I switched to MP4 format and it's a bit easier, but still can't transfer multiple files at once.
So here is the difference with MP4:
When you download the video from "Camera Files" instead of the video going into "Local Files - App Videos", it goes into "Local Files - Videos".
Then when you go into "Local Files - Videos" and click on each MP4 video, the Share option (which is now in the upper right as opposed to the lower left for "app videos"), has a simple "Save Video" option. That option puts the file into the Camera Roll
Just wanted to point out this difference.

Nevermind Frostie. Found your info about it here: Forum | INNOVV
INNOVV Developer folks please consider this for you iPhone app:
- Add an option to the top level of your "Local Files" so that you can mass select files (which you already have for "delete" only), but then add an option to mass transfer the files to the Camera Roll (iPhone) ... not sure what the equivalent is on the Android. This would then allow you to plug the iPhone into a PC and get to all of the files via the "Apple iPhone -> Internal Storage -> DCIM" from Windows Explorer and at that point it's a easy as the SD Card for transferring the files from that to somewhere else on your PC.
Ok, after goofing around more with the File Browser (File Sharing) I was able to get it to work using this:
From INNOV App, save the File from "Camera Files" by selecting "download". That makes it available in "Local Files" in their app.
Then from "Local Files" in their app, select "App Videos" and ONE at a time, tap on each and select the Sharing icon in the lower right as per Frostie's response above.
From there select "Save to Files"
Then tree out "On My iPhone" and pick an app like "iMovie" to save it to.
Rinse and repeat steps 2-4 for each file.
After that:
Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB.
Run iTunes
Click on your iPhone icon to get to the phone.
On the left menu, select File Sharing under Settings.
From the list of File Sharing apps, click on iMovie.
Now, from here i see the files I saved. To get them on the PC, I had to Drag and Drop them from iTunes to my desktop (or any Folder on my PC) as there are no options to do it with clicking/etc.
What a pain. So if you record at their default of 1 min for each file and go a 2 hour motorcycle ride, that will mean you'll have 240 files to transfer one at a time to your PC.
The SD Card removal is far easier I guess.
I can only speak for iPhone, but may be Android is the same.
When you open the local video, there is a "share" icon in the lower left corner. Clicking there, a dialog opens up in which you can share this video with other apps (e.g. FileBrowser) or save in the download folder on your phone.
