When I record in high bitrate with TS format in 10 minutes block and download them to my computer, the sound is out of sync, sometimes by minutes. The TF card is a SanDisk High Endurance microSDXC Class 10 UHS-I U3 V30 256GB.
The GPS is also out of sync.
I also have problem with that the video stops and sounds continue.
Its a relatively fast computer with good margin in memory, processor and SSD disk.
Same problem with different video software as VLC, Dashcam Viewer and Lightworks.
reklam, I not sure I can get you very far along on resolving these sync issues. I can say that I have found in Lightworks that TS has some issues to overcome. I just switched back to MP4. I think TS is suitable for playback but not so much for editing. Have you had the same issues with MP4 that you are having with TS?
Also, in the K5 app you can adjust GPS polling from 1hz to 5hz, something like that, which I believe will provided more GPS points, for a smoother graph track but perhaps larger file size.
"Video stops and sounds continue" is this in a viewer or in Lwks?
Also, in Lwks, are you using proxies? The reason I ask, is because even with MP4 format source video files, Lwks will max out my i7 CPU 2.9gz, 32gb ram, 1TBssd, with GeForce 1660 Super. the video playback buffers but the audio is still playing. Proxies make it possible to edit these 4k videos.
What's your Task Manager Performance telling you when the videos are in playback and they "stop" playing? 4k has a big appetite. You may have a processing issue rather than a syncing issue.
The bad news is that there is a learning curve. The good news is that from the K5 captures, Dashcam (Licensed) (GPS map), say, Debut (Licensed)(screen capture), and Lightworks Pro, you will be able to produce your videos with both front and rear cameras, GPS tracks (however you deem), captured audio (mono track), and voice over audio track if you wish.
