My K5 is staying powered on.

Does this only happen at power off or also at powern on? Means...if the K5 is off and you connect the positive and negative wire to the battery, but leave the yellow wire disconnected, does the K5 start up?

During the moment when the K5 should turn off, but stays on, where are the videos get saved? In the normal folder or in the parking folder?

The K5 is powered on all the time irrespective of the yellow wire. As an instance the converter is currently connected to the battery, however the yellow wire is disconnected. The K5 is on.

The only way I can power down is to remove the inline fuse or disconnect the negative lead to the converter.

The parking file check box in the app is unchecked. Therefore all files are stored in the continuous loop folder.

Firmware is up to date.

Can you check if the circular connector of the power supply is dry on the inside? If there is moisture in this, this can give a connection between the red and yellow wire, so that the K5 turns on.

This circular connector must be fitted with a rubber ring to keep it watertight. If this is not the problem, would you like to disconnect the remote control. Okay, you can't see if the K5 is on, but then you can check to see if a K5 wifi signal is present. This is to make sure that the problem is not caused by a faulty remote control.

Thanks Hans. I have disconnected the yellow wire as suggested. The camera stays powered on. The only way I can power off is to remove the inline fuse.
