Is the K5 microphone considered to be waterproof/rainproof? I'm trying to decide where to mount my microphone and would like to take this in to consideration.
Strange, the manual states "The whole unit is certified with an IP67 rating, and it is absolutely alright to use on raining days."With the whole unit I assume that the complete system is meant, Cameras, GPS, remote control but also the microphone.IP67 rating will provide complete protection against dust and will properly function after temporary immersion in water. Driving in the rain should not be a problem for the microphone. There is no mention in the user manual that the microphone cannot withstand rain.
Sorry, I have checked again and I found that I made a mistake, the mircophone is water proof. It can be used on rainning days.

Hello Brett, K5 microphone is not waterproof/rainproof. I suggest you put it under the seat when it's raining.
