Hi, installed the new K5 2 weeks ago, and delighted with quality of product, upgraded from a K2.
However, after a very wet run back from Lakes at the weekend, it's now no longer powering up.
Fault situation:
Blue led on dc convertor, very dim.
Connect external power supply directly to USB port on dvr unit, and remote control, green camera button goes on briefly, then goes out.
Can you advise what else I can try, or should I remove unit and return?
Thanks,
Joe
Hello Joe
According to your description,we suppose that water flooded in the DVR after that very wet run, the water flooded into the DVR from the card slot, please be sure that the card solt is tightened tightly.

Dear Joe
Thanks for your continuous support, we appreciate a lot. Yes, K2 works well for years.
For the problem of K5, would you please check if the card solt is connected tightly? Also please let us know the serial number in the K5 DVR?
Please disconnect the rear camera &GPS, and power it with a power bank, then check the SD card in the computer 10minutes later, see if there is any video in the SD card.
Thanks and hope to get your reply very soon.
