Hi - I have just installed the K5 and I am having a couple of issue I would be grateful for help on.
1 - I transferred a couple of videos using the app onto my phone. I then switched off the bike and my phone disconnected from the INNOVV wifi and connected to my house wifi. I then tried to play back the local file but the app gave me an error and said please disconnect wireless connection. I did this and the video started playing? Why is the app telling me to switch off my home wifi before it will play local files? Is this a fault?
2 - When I am playing the local files and looking at the map section I can see a red track of my motorbike but it is on a blank map? Speed and x,y and z co-ordinates are displaying on the video so I assume that the gps is functioning ok?
3 - Whenever I start the app there is a heavily pixelated (like video interference) animation before the main screen appears? Is this a known issue?

I suspect that the home wifi problem could be related to your wifi security settings. Other apps have no problems with your home WiFi connection?
I'm curious if you can still solve this problem and if it worked what you did.
You do indeed have the latest version of the app. This should work without any problem. Do you have the option in your phone to change permissions of an app? Perhaps the app does not have all 'access rights', for example to access the internet.
The app should play the locally stored videos without any internet access.
If you play a video with map view, what do you see when you zoom out very far? Do you see something like this example?
Note the Chinese characters at the bottom left of the screen. If this is the case, the app uses the Baidu map instead of Google maps. With the Baidu map you get to see very few details.
I still have to check it, but I think by clicking on the symbols in the top right of the map you could choose Baidu map or Google maps.

As for your questions

- What brand/model phone are you using?
- What version of the app are you using?
- You see the videos in one of the subfolders of the 'local files' folder? Or are you trying to play videos via the 'camera files' folder?

X,Y and Z have nothing to do with GPS. These are just g-sensors. These currently have no function.
To view a map, you must be connected to the Internet at the time of playback.

This is not a known problem as far as I know. It seems that your phone or the app is not functioning properly.
Maybe uninstall and reinstall the app just to be safe.
Try to see if you have the same problems with another phone. @Jade _Innovv Can you move this topic to the correct forum section?
