My K5 installed on a BMWS1000RR with an auxiliary power that shuts off 30sec after ignition is off. Still draining batter. the Wi-Fi stays on and active even when bike is off? how can this be resolve?
Are there no other power consumers when the ignition is off? For example an alarm system. And indeed as mentioned before, check where you connected the yellow wire to. Does that connection really turn off when the ignition is turned off?
would you please check if the yellow wire connected to ACC? if you confirm yellow wire was connected to ACC, please check the voltage for the ACC yellow wire when the ignition is off ? please advise back thanks.
As you say the K5 stays on even with the ignition switched off, I suppose the red and black wires are connected to the battery and the yellow wire to the auxiliary power. Correct?
What is this "auxiliary power"? A cansmart adapter? If yes, how it the cansmart port configured and to which wire is the yellow wire connected?
Normally, the K5 turns on if it senses 12V at the yellow wire and turns off if it senses 0V. As your K5 keeps running, my first step would to check the voltage at the yellow wire when the ignition has just turned off.
Draining the battery, how did you measure that?
