Here is a brief description of my installation on a BMW K1600GT.
FUSE
Placement of the fuse and connection to the battery.

SWITCHED POWER
The BMW K1600GT has a switched power supply in the round connector under the passenger seat. This is the connector used to connect the topcase. It is the red/yellow wire.
After the ignition has been switched off, voltage remains at this connection for 60 seconds.
So the K5 switches off about 85 seconds after the ignition is switched off.

POWER MODULE
The power module can be placed under the rider seat near the battery.

SWITCHED POWER LINE
Shows where the switched power supply wire (yellow) can be laid.

REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control can be placed on the left handle. The remote control is mounted with double sided tape. I have placed the remote control the other way around. The advantage of this is that the cable can be neatly concealed in the existing cable harness. There is only one button on the remote control, so it does not matter if it is placed the other way round.

FRONT CAMERA
Placement of the front camera.
The connectors can be hidden from view behind the fairing on the right side of the bike.
This is the side where the cooling water reservoir is placed (not visible in the photo).

REAR CAMERA
Placement of the rear camera. In this place the camera is protected by the right case. Despite the wide viewing angle of the camera, the case is not visible in the video image.

GPS MODULE
The GPS module can be placed inside the dashboard. This will then be to the right of the navigation unit.
The GPS module is therefore installed out of sight. Please note that the double-sided tape is stuck to the top of the GPS module.
The plastic of the dashboard does not affect the GPS reception.

The GPS module is no longer visible.

MICROPHONE
The microphone can be placed in the wiring harness of the right handle. Use the existing rubber cable ties to secure the microphone.

That's all folks😀
