Hey Folks
i just installed a new K3 unit on my bike and I can’t get it to power up when connected to the included power converter. It will power up when using a USB supply and everything appears to work in that case, however not with the power converter.
The converter has a blue light, which sometimes goes out when I switch on the bike. The converter has three pins on the output and I can measure 5.4V with a multimeter, but I never tried to verify which pins produce 5.4V when compared to other pins. I would assume that one pin is 5.4V constant, another is ground and the third would be 5.4V when the ignition is on.
Does anyone have a pin out for the power converter.
TIA
Great that you know how to solve it yourself and that you also mention how you solved it.
Fortunately, it is also mentioned in the manual 😉

To solve my own problem.
Turns out the yellow cable wasn’t well connected. I found a page that explained the converter.
