New install on a 1250GSA, direct to battery and ACC to switched-live. Tested fine, recording starts/stops with ignition on/off with delayed shutdown 30-40s.
After a ride today with a few stops for coffee, I noticed the remote stayed illuminated, three solid lights, 5min after parking. Checked later, same illuminated remote after 20mins. The data on the card suggests this is normal recoding, not park mode files. Recordings pause for 1-2mins after ignition off, then continue (perhaps indefinitely 🤷🏼♂️)
Pulled the fuse. Reinstalled the fuse and tested again with ignition on/off and it worked OK.
Is this a over sensitive Park Mode? Failed DC Converter? Other setting issue?
I need to run the bike (engine run) not just ignition on/off, double check ACC with a meter but I suspect this is the converter that has failed?
Hello Michael , sorry for the problem you met. Now we have a new firmware , could you download it and update it . It should fix the problem you mentioned just now.
How to update firmware:
1. Click the above link to download the latest firmware named K3.bin to your computer. 2. Please unzip the K3.bin and copy the K3.bin file to an SD card which shall be in FAT32 format. The file name must be the original name and other
names could not work, such as K3(1).bin or K3(2).bin. 3. Insert the Micro SD card into your INNOVV DVR. 4. Power on your INNOVV camera system and the firmware will be automatically updated with the green light flashing erratically.
Once update is successful the blue light will be flashing on a regular basis appx once a second. If for any reason the update
was not successful, please repeat the update.
I now have a new issue with the K3. I came back from a ride, turned off the bike, and waited for the K3 to turn off. It took over a minute to do so but did turn off. Shortly after (maybe 10-15 seconds), without me touching anything, it turned itself back on again. I think mine must be haunted!
I did as suggested by doing a firmware update and it sorted the problem out.
When the ingnition is turned off, but the K3 keeps recording, what happens if you disconnect the yellow cable?
Where are the video files stored when it happens? The normal "video" folder?
Hi, Nick. I did that and it seemed to be OK for a few days. It is now back to doing it again.
What else should I try?
I downloaded the latest firmware file I could find, from May 26, I think. Initially it seemed to work, but when I came back from a ride, the remote not turning off issue was back. Any ideas?
Thanks I will give that a go
I did a full firmware update and it cured the issue. apparently there will be a new firmware released to also resolve the over sensitive gravity sensor.
I have the exact same issue on My BMW R1200GS and fitted with the yellow wire to the accessary on the Hex Ezycan, appears to be a constant recording and none are parking activations.
I have the same issue on a V85TT Moto Guzzi. The remote stayed on for the entire 10 hours I was at work. Prior to this, the system had worked as advertised for the couple of months since installation.
Hi Nick, we got your mail in the Cusomter Service mail, we will help to troubleshoot soon, will send some attachements as well by mail. Thanks.
