I know this has been posted before but I havent had any luck with the advise, so puttin gthis out there again.
I purchased a bike a year ago that had this installed. I only recenly tried to get this up and running. When i try to enter the password for the network, i get a wrong password message. I have reset the device (holding down the button for 10 seconds until the lights go out) and get the same wrong password messge. There is no pinhole as other posts have stated to reset this. I took the sim card out but cannot find the log file that another poster recommended (and another said it didnt work). The only thing I can think of is somewhere on the SIM card is a password... I wanted to ask before i tried this. Can i simply delete everything on the card? Wipe it?
The system works (to my suprise). There are many files of my riding and inadvertent pictures. I just cant access the system through my phone. Is my only option to buy another K3?
Thank you
Ed
I want to thank everybody for their suggestions and advice. A tech from INNOVV helped me out last night. It seems the problem was that I downloaded the K2 app instead of the basic. INNOVV app. Now everything is working again thank you'll.
If you delete the app, also all files/folders related to the app. And then reinstall the app, see what happens.
You have not previously connected to a K2 with your phone?
The hardware is K3 (current system). The app refers to K2 cameras. Mine are round. Seems there is only 1 app to download (I scanned the QR from the K3 page). So i done know if they the K2 and K3 refer to K2 cameras in the app. Thanks for your help
Indeed, reinstalling the firmware is the only solution to reset your WiFi password.
The advantage is that you also use the latest version of the firmware.
Have fun with your K3.
Hi Edward,
pressing the reset button only resets all the settings of the K3, but not the wifi password. The only way to reset the wifi password is by re-flashing the firmware.
You can get the latest firmware and a short description about how to flash the firmware here.
