I installed the K3 system on the above bike. Two issues I’m having is
1. the system will not shut off. I wired yellow lead to the horn in the fuse box.
2. The K3 killed my battery. So now I’m searching for another spot fo the yellow to go. any pic’s or suggestions?

Problem solved 👌👍💡
Good thing I keep things in the garage.
Dully noted, I kinda figured that out after my battery tanked. Wiring 101,I just had a brain fart. But I hope I can find an easy to get at location for my switched power without doing any major splicing. Was thinking the I-pod docking system that goes in the right saddle bag. Really hate cutting anything.
In an electric circuit, the fuse always comes first. Means...
Battery-----Fuse----Switch/Relay----Horn
Which means that it is very likely that you will find constant 12V at the fuse and that this is the reason why the K3 does not shut down, but drains your battery.
A better spot for the yellow cable would be the rear light.
Hi Kyle, would you please turn the ignition off and pull out the key, and use a multi-meter to test the fuse after 10mintues you turn off the ignition, to see if there is any voltage? Usually there will no voltage if the yellow wire is connected to a correct ACC, if there is still a Voltage, please find another place to connect the yellow cable, you can use the multimeter to find a right acc port.
Please check it and back to us with any result. Thank you.
