We wonder if the yellow cable is connected in a properly ACC, so is it possible for you to connect the red&yellow cable in the postive pole of the battery , and what will happen to the K3?
Hi Pablo, what is the voltage on the yellow wire after starting the motorbike? If the K3 has turned off, is the blue LED on the power module still lit?
Some causes of this problem can be:
- defective power module
- voltage on the yellow wire is no longer present after starting the motorbike
- voltage on the red wire is too low after starting the motorcycle
- K3 wiring is too close to ignition wires (interference)
Please turn off the ignition, and disconnect the power converter for about 10 seconds, then connect the power converter again, turn on the engine and see if the problem disappear or not?
Besides this problem, is there any other problem of the K3?
Usually a taillight is a good connection for the yellow wire. On 'modern' motorcycles, the lighting is always on.
Just need to set it up how I want it now 😎
All sorted now thanks! It was a dodgy ACC that was connected 👍
