My K2 is set to TS file type as I understand this is more robust. Dashcam viewer doesn't recognize this file type. I have Anvsoft's "Any Video Converter Ultimate" and can convert to may types, but GPS data is lost. If I switch my K2 to MP4, I get gaps in the video. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
To see this working, head to your live site.

If you choose MP4, the GPS data remains available.
I use dashcam viewer in combination with MP4 and that works fine.
I only get a gap in the video when the following video file is opened. So in my case every 5 minutes because I have the K2 set that the video files will be 5 minutes in size.
As far as I know there is no solution for this.
There are some GUI based software which can handle GPS data within video files. But as there is no standard for the GPS data, you cannot be sure a software can read the GPS data of your device. So you would have to check it yourself.
The Dahscam viewer is the only GUI based software I know, which can handle the GPS data of the K2.
All the other normal video editing or conversion tools will ignore the GPS data, which results in its lost.
If the Dashcam viewer cannot handle TS files, I am afraid you have to use MP4.
The current firmware version (V0.70) can not view the GPS tracks of TS, and new APPS and firmware will fix this problem later, GPS tracks will also be visible in TS format.
Innovv, pls explain pros and cons of TS and MP4, thanks.
The TS format is well saved, and video loss is rare, but the downside is that it may not be recognized by all video editing software.
MP4 format is widely used, but the stability is not as good as TS format.
The current version only supports MP4 format to see GPS track playback.
