Reviewing recordings with the app does not show a Google map.
When I look back on recordings using the app, I don't see a Google or Baidu map on the screen. Both with recordings that are in the camera and recordings that I have downloaded in my smart-phone.
What is the function of the possibility that I can choose in the app for Google map or Baidu maps?
The app is from the latest sw version and the smartphone is a Samsung A7 with the latest sw version (Android 9)
The problem could be the zoom level of the maps.
In my case I have to zoom out very but very far to see a map. I will then see a Baidu map.
Google Earth is still not supported.
With me, the map screen is only visible when I hold the phone in portrait position (vertical), not landscape (horizontal).
In addition, you must be connected to the internet while viewing. The map information is retrieved from the internet. So not from a map in your phone.
My video shows time, and speed in lower right corner...I have all wifi turned off on my phone (android) and map does NOT show at all????
I'm using .TS files and it shows my speed in the video, but there is no GPS playback. Do I have to default the files to .mp4 for the GPS maps to work?
Hi Everyone, Where can I get a k2 bin file?
https://www.dropbox.com/home/Wix%20website/INNOVV%20K2/Firmware
Everytime I try to open the dropbox link. It says there the link above doesn't exist.
Anyone have the most updated firmware on them?
I believe you are using Android phone.
Android system is not able to allow the phone to connect internet while WiFi connected to the K2.
iOS can do so.
Solved!
It works, I now see the map on my mobile phone.
After switching off the WiFi, I now get the map.
Apparently the app only gets the map if there is no WiFi connection. A shame because now mobile data is being used in principle, and these are extra costs (depending on your provider).
It would have been nice if the app could also get the map if there was a WiFi connection.
Maybe an idea for when the ap gets an update.
DashcamViewer shows the map.The app on my phone does not show a folder.
I'm going to look if I have some rights wrong on my phone
Does the Dash Cam software show the map?
I wonder if it's worth checking the permission for the innovv app on your phone? Just a thought.

Hello Rock Liu & Neil Maltby
GPS data is present in the recording.
The speed can be seen in the video.
I also checked the files with DashcamViewer. The GPS data can also be read in this program.
So it should not be due to the recording.
I am curious to find out where else I can search for the right institution / solution.
Have you tried viewing the files using dash cam footage viewing software? There is a free to use one here https://dashcamviewer.com/
At least this will give you an idea if it's the phone that's causing the issue.

Have you seen the speed from the video?
If there is the speed, the gps module should work, and you can download the video from camera to your phone first, then click the video to play, you can see the map.
If without speed displayed on the video, that GPS module seems like does not work. Please check the connection, and be sure, Logo on GPS is up to the sky, GPS module exposures, not hiding in somewhere.
