I wanted to avoid any chance that the Innovv K2 would drain the battery on my motorcycle. I have connected the yellow trigger wire to a switch on the handlebars so I could control when the unit starts / stops recording. (I did not want it recording all the time.) Based on information from other forum users, I installed the Hella delay-off relay. The relay is wired correctly and functions as it should. I have the Innovv power module with the blue LED. When I turn the key on, the relay powers up but the blue LED on the power module flashes once quickly then remains out even with power still connected through the relay. When I turn on the handlebar switch to begin recording K2 powers up and begins recording after a 10 second delay. When I turn off the handlebar switch, the K2 shuts down completely after 10 seconds. I am getting the files on the micro SD card but the behavior of the unit is not what I expected. I might try hooking the red and black wires from the power supply directly to the battery to see if that gives the behavior I was expecting. If anyone else has installed a relay to disconnect the K2 from the battery does your unit function like this?
From what I read in your posting, your K2 behaves as expected.
When I turn the key on, the relay powers up but the blue LED on the power module flashes once quickly then remains out even with power still connected through the relay.
That's correct. When you turn on Ignition, the relay powers up and supplies power to the power module. Which is, at that moment, the same as connecting the power module directly to the battery. But as you did not turn on the handlebar swtich, the power module still "thinks" the Ignition is off. And therefore it does not start the K2.

I was the user who brought in the idea to use a delay-off relay. But my wiring is a little bit different from yours. You can see it here

If I would disconnect the yellow cable, which would be same as turning off your handlebar switch, the K2 would not start, too.
Thank you. This is very helpful.
