You can choose the firmware version on this website, the V0.67 is the latest one.
The SD card which is used for upgrading should be FAT32 format.
After downloading the firmware into the SD card, the name of the firmware must be K2. bin, can not be followed by such Numbers as (1) (2).
After the SD card is put into the DVR, it is connected to the power again, and the firmware refresh will start automatically.
Ok, thanks. How do I get the SD card in FAT 32 Format? I think that's why it might not be working
@Jools you can connect to the APP, then select the "fotmat" feature.
An SD card in exfat format can be changed to a fat32 format in this way.
Unfortunatley this step does only work if the firmware is not V0.5x or the card is not bigger than 32 GB. Please don't forget that some K2 may be delivered with the V.5x installed, which formats sd cards bigger than 32GB in ExFat. Using such a formatted card to flash the firmware does not work OR can lead to the K2 starts flashing on every start.
The most reliable way to flash the firmware is using a smaller sd card, which is not bigger than 32GB. Format the card within the DVR. After that, put the K2.bin on the card, put it back to the DVR and fire it up.
