I have the cameras mounted and am really happy with the way they are situated. I mounted the DVR under the seat but that location is not very convenient for retrieving the micro SD card to transfer videos to my computer. I would appreciate seeing how others have mounted the DVR unit on motorcycles with very limited space. Thanks.

My DVR is mounted under the seat of my BMW which is easily removed with the key. Downloading files via app is not an option for the bigger files or for multiple file as WIFI speed is very slow. So if i want to retrieve vids then i remove seat and SD card. Very fiddly though.
I am running a Corbin solo seat that comes off with a key instead of the Harley screw. I mounted the power converter under the right side panel and the DVR under the seat. Thanks for your input.
I have an '18 Softail and have a similar annoyance. I put the power converter unit under the seat, but I put the DVR under the right side cover. Getting at the SD card requires the removal of two screws, so not all that convenient. I don't know that my solution is any better than putting it under the seat, it's probably equally annoying to get to.
If the wifi downloading a clip or even playing back a clip worked worth a fart, it wouldn't be so necessary to constantly have to access the SD card...
That is cool bike. As you have seen, the DVR is flat and thin, easy to find right placement.
Do you mind to share the photos of the install?
