I have the K2 installed on my K1300GT. I also have a DAB/FM radio and a Ham radio (144/433 MHz) :-)
After I mounted the K2 on my MC late last year, I have had some interference on both the DAB/FM radio and my ham radio. It is like pulses with 1 sec interval. I have spend some time tracking this down, and it shows it is actually the K2 that does it. The ham radio also has receive capabilities on Air band (118 MHz / AM). Here the K2 totally blocks the receiver. Signals have to be very strong to overcome this interferences and it actually does not sound very well.
As soon as I turn the K2 off, the interference disappears.
I have tried with a handheld radio to move around the MC, and as soon as I get near a K2 component or cable, the interference is very strong on the Air band, and noticeable on the ham bands.
It is most prominent close to the K2 box or the GPS module.
Normally i would start filtering power supplies to devices, but as this is radiated from all K2 units and cables this is impossible.
In certain situations this is unusable for me, and I will have to mount a switch now so I can turn off the K2 :-)

I noticed that the interference was much stronger when I placed the handheld radio or the spectrum analyser antenna, near the GPS module or the cable to the module.
I then tried to disconnect the GPS module, from the box, and the interference is nearly gone both on the radio and the analyser looking at the Air band only. I can still hear a bit, as app 1 seconds pulses when the K2 is on. I guess that is camera data bursts to the DVR.
The yellow GPS led still flashes with the GPS disconnected.
Then I started the K2 again, with the GPS connected, and turned the GPS off in the settings. Nothing happens at all. Still all the interference, and GPS led still flashes, so I guess this setting is not working.
All this actually now explains why I did not have frequent interference observations last year. Last year I literally had only a few recordings with speed indication (other than 0 km) in the videos. My missing interference was of course because the GPS module was not working at all. I can see that later FW has had some GPS fix's released.
It would be nice if the GPS could be turn off/on in the settings menu!

i had the same issues with my TPS. After relocating the unit the TPS works again. I have the latest firmware
I updated not that long time ago, but I was on ...407.V0.67
Now I have updated to the one you mention.
I do not see any difference at all. When the 5 mins has elapsed:
My phones can't see the wifi anymore.
The blue wifi led just keeps flashing
I still have the same disturbance on the radios
I tried to set the wifi timer to 5 min. Mine seems only to have 5 or 10 or never.
It did not help at all when the wifi turned off. I believe the wifi turned off, as it disappeared from my phones wifi list after those 5 minutes. The signal indicator on the box (which is blue on my unit, manual says green) kept flashning though, and there were no different behaviour with the other indicators on the box.
I have tried to make some pictures from a spectrum analyser, but such measurements shall be made in a shielded chamber, which I don't have. I will try to post a few that show the difference with K2 off and on.
@lr_del1 This seems very similar to interference I get from the K2 to my R1200GSA Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
As above, would be interested if the latest firmware that allows you to set that the WiFi is disabled after 5 or 10 minutes might resolve the issue. Unfortunately because of the lockdown I can't yet test it resolves my TPMS issue, would be interested in your feedback
I think K2's WiFi signal is causing interference.
You can try to update K2's latest firmware. The firmware adds the ability for WiFi to be timed off.

There is a 3/5/10 minute option.
I think this might prevent the WiFi signal from affecting the radio.
