Hi,
Went out to check the footage on my K2 and found that it's dead and won't power on (no wifi network, no LED lights, and no dashcam footage). I pulled the SD card, and the most recent footage is from SIX MONTHS AGO. I guess I'm extra glad I didn't get in a wreck during that time, because this $400 paperweight would have just been laughing at me.
First I checked if the button would turn the unit on, since the ignition line to the K2's power supply (yellow wire) did not. Nothing. Then I tried unplugging the unit and letting it sit for a few minutes and reconnecting it. Nothing. Next I pressed and held the reset button. No life. I checked the wiring for shorts or damage and didn't find any. So I dug out a multimeter to check the voltages and found this:

It looks like the power supply melted a bit there. And there's 0V and 0.2V on the lines to the DVR itself.
Thanks for your response. The DVR does turn on when plugged in by USB, it appears undamaged.
