sorry if question already answered. Searched but didn’t find anything.
Have connected K2 through Denali cansmart. seems to work fine except K2 doesn’t turn on by itself. I have to press the silver button on DVR (which is under seat and will be a real pain in normal use). Have looked in settings in K2 but not seen anything. can anyone help me? What have I done wrong?
ACC: You basically have four positions of your car ignition switch. One position is unlocking the steering wheel. The next one is often called ACC (for accessories). It switches on the electric power for many convenience components of the car like car stereo, power windows, power seats and cigarette lighter. For a car or a bike, ACC it's the same. In short, ACC is the switching power supply for accessories. You must therefore connect the yellow wire of the Inovv
Otherwise just search on Google.
If you still don't get it. Then consider whether you are technically skilled to connect the Innovv eletrically yourself
Sorry but the answer to my question is not above in the text and image. your earlier answer said connect yellow to ACC. What is the ACC?
See the image and text above: description of the yellow wire...
Here are the basic installation methods for converter.
If you are using it with Denali cansmart, the red and black lines on converter should be connected to the positive and negative poles on the motorcycle, and the yellow lines should be connected to the ACC.
You need to distinguish which is a 12V output line when the motorcycle is power on, that is where the yellow line should be connected.
You have the power directly from the battery and the third trigger cable from the CanSmart? Not used the CanSmart, but the easyCan, but gueds they are similar.
Have you set the CanSmart to be set to trigger? I guess that is the problem, but can be wrong.
How have you wired the K2. You should still wire the red and black direct to the battery, only use the CanSmart for the yellow accessory wire
