Recently installed K2 on 1980 BMW R100T without issues. Both cameras were installed with the "INNOVV" text at the top of the installation as per diagrams. On finally making a connection (I never use location on my Android!) I saw that the images were inverted. No real issue, used settings to get correct orientation - stock v70 firmware.
Took bike for first ride and, on reviewing the files in DashCam Viewer, the first one minute loops are in the correct orientation. About 15 minutes into the ride, the next looped file and all subsequent files are "upside down".
There had not been a power loss (I didn't stop the bike) so am at a loss to understand why this happened. And also whether it will happen again?
Any thoughts as to why / what caused this?
TIA
Dave
@Frostie - will try this tomorrow and let you know.

I never experienced this "Image upside down" effect during my tests of the K2. And I really did weird things to the K2.
So could anybody of you kindly export all settings of your K2, so I can import them to mine and see, if I can reproduce the effect?
To export the settings, connect to the K2 wifi and open up a browser. Then enter the following URL to get all settings.
http://192.168.1.254/?custom=1&cmd=3002
This will list all settings (even those you can not set by the app). Copy/Paste the output to a textfile and post it here.
And please also check the installed firmware version by using this command
http://192.168.1.254/?custom=1&cmd=3012
Looks like I was fortunate in that both cameras are easily accessible. Will be interested to hear if you get an answer. Good luck.
Thanks Dave. Tried calling Tech Support but no answer this morning left a message. Unfortunately I‘ve got to remove a lot of panels to rotate cameras and if a software fix is coming out I didn’t want to have to do it twice. Looks like the only solution though. Surprised I've seen no real answers from INNOVV
Afraid I don't have a "real" answer. I ended up rotating the cameras through 180 degrees and leaving the app set to the "default" orientation as I had previously seen the images invert part of the way through a ride. As a consequence I have little faith in the current versions of the app / firmware.
Not sure this helps other than to say you are not alone!
Ok I have an inverted picture so tried to invert back via the app. That works fine but then the picture is mirrored so I looks as if I’m on the wrong side of the road. Using the App mirror selection puts it right but inverts the picture again.. anyone know if there’s is a way to sort this or if I remove the cameras and invert if there will be a software update coming that will mean I have to move the cameras again. Something this expensive should not be this difficult to make work
thanks
Dave
@Hans - Simple is invariably best!!
@Hans - Can finally advised that I did a two hour on the bumpiest country lanes I can find around here without going off road and that, with the DVR firmly "wedged" into position, no time periods were lost.
This was using stock v70 firmware and a 1 minute loop and I will now change this to a 5 minute loop.
The cameras are still mounted upside down and using the default orientation setting in the app.
Thanks again.
@dew Missing recordings can also be due to possible shocks from the main unit. Try to place it elsewhere. Or place it in some foam so that shocks are damped.
I had this same problem and moving it to a different place on my bike and also placing the main unit in foam eliminated the problem for me.
Managed to have a two hour run on the bike today and have just checked the output from the K2. Am not happy! 1 minute segments and mp4 selected, v70 fw.
First off, I stopped to refuel and the camera did not record the last part of my entrance to the garage. Why not as it is wired up correctly?
Secondly, on looking at the output files, there are times missing. For example, file is named ....120924_F.MP4 and the next one is ....121225_F.MP4 giving a three minute gap where nothing appears to have been recorded. This frequent throughout the ride with gaps of 5 minutes not unusual. Hardly impressive.
Thirdly, although GPS data recorded (as seen in Dashcam viewer) it is not being embedded into the video files despite check mark in app settings.
Fourthly, the first video had no speed recorded although subsequent ones did.
At least the video did not invert itself this time - the lenses are now mounted upside down and the app set to default.
Am I the only to have such a catalogue of issues?
Will be interested to see the outcome as mine is also upside down after installing v70 firmware. Will try to invert via app and see if it inverts again
Doron, I reset the app to "default" and rotated the camera through 180 degrees. This seemed to solve my problem but have only tried it once so cannot guarantee anything.
