I have a K2 system fitted on my bike. I went out this morning for a 2.30hr ride approx 8am until 1030 am. One stop on the way. Videos files between these times was all ok.
Return trip 1700 - 1930 no stops I thought I would check that the unit would switch off after i turned the ignition off, after 10 mins the lights were still on and I had to manually turn it off. Yes all the wires are connected correctly. It wasnt until I checked the SD card on the laptop that i realised that the system froze soon after i started riding the bike on the way home as the only files recorded was between 1700 and 1718. This does not fill me with much confidence. Expecting the system to record whilst I am riding is essential and if It freezes without me knowing and an accident occurs what confidence can I have i have it on record. The unit is only 1 month old and has the latest firmware upgrade. ??? Any ideas why this should occur
I have also uploaded file 20191126_172352_F.MP4 which when you watch the video it stops at 5m.09s into the video
ps the unit will not switch off and I have to manually hold the button. I have tried this several times when the bike has been stationary
Hi Steve/Rock Liu I'm am still having issues. Which i have posted up on the support forum liaising with Rock Liu. Recently the capturing of video froze and wasn't recording or switching off. I thought it maybe the firmware as it wasn't updated to the latest. I updated it last week and formatted the memory card. Used the bike today and now the unit will not turn itself off and the video has frozen again. I have added one of the files to the drop link, file is 20191126_173352_F.MP4 it froze before I got to the end of my journey
The unit hasn't worked faultlessly since I had purchased it in the 10th of August. As blood biker it is key for me to get this sorted ASAP
Thanks
Can you help to check the froze videos from both camera or only one, if only one, which camera, the longer wire camera or short wire camera?
The problem may come from the wire of the camera or the connection between type C connectors. Need your help to narrow down the issue and get it fixed.
1. If both cameras have froze videos, please swap two cameras to plug into DVR and see if two camera still have issue.
2. if only one camera has froze videos, please swap two cameras to plug into DVR and see the last camera if still produce the freezing videos.

Fix DVR on motorcycle by 3M tape of Velcro, to avoid DVR movement.
Keep motorcycle stationary, Turn ignition on/off few times and see if the camera can start and stop accordingly.
