Check if the electronic fuse isn't tripped. I had an older style power converters and at startup the amps spiked and it would trip and won't start. You can check this by connect a laptop and powering in the Smartcan/Ezcan with the app open. If the electronic fuse trips than that is the problem. I filmed it and my power converter would spike massively, well over 20 amps for just a millisecond. To short to burn the conventional fuse.

Are you sure you have set the CanSmart port that you are connected to a switched accessory port with a 30 second delay?
