I myself drive a BMW K1600GT, and with this model not all power is cut of when the engine starts.
With me there is a round connection for a top case under the passenger seat. Here is a switched power supply that does not fail when starting the engine. It is the red / yellow wire here.
The K2 cannot be set like this. You then have to work with a time-switched relay.
Can't you pick up the switched power supply from another point? For example a rear light? Or at least a connection where voltage is only applied when the engine has started?
2020 R 1250 gs adventure, I will test the light for power when the starter button is pressed. BMW technician said that all power is cut to the rest if the bike when the starter button is pressed
Power up delay. Between switching my bike on and the computer startup on the bike checking for errors and starting the bikes is about 30 seconds. so the k2 powes up in the middle of this and as soon as I start the bike the aux lose power and corrupts the clip
Thank you so much, you sit with a wealth of information
Maybe this link can help you further.

What is the make / model of the bike?

Which delay do you mean exactly?
Delay in shutdown, recording, or...?
If you mean the loop recording, you can adjust it in the app.
