I had a replacement GPS unit which appeared to have solved my GPS woes, however after a summer of testing it's clear the GPS is a bit flaky.
I think what I am seeing is that if I start my bike and ride off straight away the GPS isn't able to establish a connection to the satellites and I get no data.
If I start my bike and wait 2 to 3 minutes before setting off I usually get DPS data for the entire journey.

Mine was acting up as well. I ended up replacing the DVR and the antenna. I mounted the antenna on top of my fairing and now it’s working again.
Are you by any chance using dashcam viewer to view the GPS data. I had exactly the same issue, some clips would get GPS data but most would not. When viewing in dashcam viewer it displayed speed on the video but no gpx location data. There is a recent update to dashcam viewer that sorted this problem. When I look at old clips that used to not display and location data they now do.
Yes I did
I've positioned my antenna on top of the faring so should get full line of sight at most times. The videos are showing 00 mph where the GPS data is missing,

I had the same issue. Get with Rock to troubleshoot but I ended up replacing my dvr and my antenna.
Can you replace the GPS module to be parallel to the ground, the logo is on top, and see if get the GPS data?
Neil - Are the videos showing 0 MPH on the video itself whilst it is playing or only in the console where you select the clip. Mine displayed 0 mph in the console but DID record the speed on the video itself. As I said upgrading to dashcam viewer 3.2.9 solved the issue for me
I have the same issue with the 'GPS' unit as well. Intermittent drop out and capture of GPS data especially when mid ride and with excellent sky access. Question for the INNOVV team: are we utilising the SatNav GPS system or the Glonass/BeiDou satellite constellations? Would like to publish 3 screen shots as supporting evidence however picture/file attachments do not work.
Solved the attachment issue. Please see the attached 3 screenshots. No speed data (GPS) and then 2 seconds later it starts working again. 3rd screenshot depicts the two major drop outs of GPS data capture on a continuous ride. Points to something else other than a technical failure of the base unit. [All connections/cables etc have been checked, re-checked. GPS unit is positioned right side up in between the handle bars so a 100% uninterrupted view of the sky]
