No. The K2 stops recording when switching to live view. Same when you go to the settings.
This is because of the differernt states of the Novatek Chip.
All you could try is to use a extra RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) Client to stream the Video. According to the Guide, there is a RTSP data stream while the K2 is recording. But I never tested it.

Yes. You are correct. The K2 keeps recording while in Live View. I tested it some versions ago and it stopped. Maybe that behaviour changed in one of the versions after my test.

The idea works, but WiFi has less then one second delay.
The video clip saves to SD card while view the live stream on App.
