I had to get a new phone and wasn't able to transfer all my Wifi settings over. My new phone won't connect, keeps saying INCORRECT PASSWORD.
Maybe I can't remember the password. It's been a while since I needed to remember it.
I'm now trying to reset the wifi password. I've followed the suggestions about flashing the firmware. I downloaded the k2.bin file to the root of the memory card. Nope, still incorrect password, even using the default 12345678.
I've tried hitting the RESET pin, held it for 20 seconds. Nothing. Still can't sign in via wifi. Anyone have any suggestions? I would sure like to get connected to my DVR with my phone. The way I have my DVR installed on my bike, getting to the memory card is not convenient at all.
BTW, my new phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. If that matters...
Hello Rick, please kindly follow the instructions as below to update the firmware again.
1. Find the firmware version you want to update. https://www.innovv.com/k2-firmware 2. Download the firmware to SD card, the SD card which is used for upgrading should be FAT32 format. 3. If your card is in exFAT format, please put this card back to DVR and then connect the APP. Find the settings on APP, click and find the SD card "format" function, choose it and then the card will be changed to FAT32. 4. After downloading the firmware into the SD card, the name of the firmware must be K2. bin, can not be followed by such Numbers as (1) (2). 5. After the SD card is put into the DVR, it is connected to the power again, and the firmware refresh will start automatically.
Part of that was my problem. I forgot the Wifi password for the DVR, so I couldn't connect with the App. I finally found a post that talked about formatting the SD to Fat32. That solved my issue getting my DVR Firmware updated, and getting logged back into wifi on my phone.
Second part of my issue (and I emailed this to tech@innovv.com), my unit keeps dropping power. Now that I have it rewired back to my bike, after I turn it on, it will stay powered on for about a minute to a minute and a half, then just power down. All the LEDs look and blink normal, then they all just shut down. The unit goes dark. The silver button won't even bring it back up.
The only way it will remain running is if I have it powered by a USB Battery. Could this be a power supply issue? My unit is a couple of years old now. Is my power supply still under warranty?

If the DVR can work with USB power, then converter is a problem.
After the warranty expires, you can purchase directly from the website.
From more testing, it is a power converter issue. The camera runs for 30 seconds to a min after the bike starts, they turns off. What is the process of getting a new converter while under warranty?
