I have the new converter and the camera is working fine now EXCEPT when I beep the horn. Then it cuts out for about 5-6 mins. Which is exactly when I need it to record an incident!
Ok. Thats sounds like you are living/riding in an area with a higher ambient temperatur and you got the first version of the power module with the blue led. I've already heard of three people, who had issues with that power module at higher ambient temperatures.
Maybe Innovv is willing to directly send you a new power module. Just contact them at cs@innovv.com
Hmmm....when you K2 shuts down during a ride, does it come back by itself some seconds later? Or does it stay down till you re-start your bike?
Your problem sounds a little bit like a power issue. Maybe a loose connection or a failure at the power module? What is the ambient temperature when it happens?
Btw. Switching to TS format would prevent loosing the last video before the K2 crashes/shuts down, as TS is more tolerant regarding power outage. MP4 files gets corrupted when not closed properly.
Yes. I had quite a few files there but not the ones I needed. Incidentally, I can‘t seem to view that file on a computer. I can only view it on the app. Does the computer automatically move them into all videos?
Are you using the MP4 format for the videos? May be your K2 crashes or looses power while driving. If you've got an older K2 with the plastic connectors, then please check the power connector by pushing/pulling it. The plastic connectors are sometimes malformed, so that even the screws are tightend, the connector can move.
Did you check the "protected" folder? The G-Sensor is very sensitive. Maybe the DVR moved the missing files to the "protected" folder because the G-Sensor got triggered by a bump.
I have disconnected and rewired and relocated the DVR. Working fine now except that it had gaps in recordings. Hoping that relocating it will help capture the high speed recordings that I had previously been missing.
I can only connect if I select airplane mode and then deselect airplane mode.
With airplane mode selected, you are not able to connect to the K2? Or why do you have to select and then directly deselect it?
Then I only have a few minutes to make my changes before the Wi-Fi shuts off, even though I have selected “never” under Wi-Fi settings.
What does it looks like, when this happens? Does your phone still see the wifi, but can not connect? Or can it connect to the wifi, but the innovv app claims it can not connect to the K2 then?
I have the latest firmware installed. I can only connect if I select airplane mode and then deselect airplane mode. Then I only have a few minutes to make my changes before the Wi-Fi shuts off, even though I have selected “never” under Wi-Fi settings.
I think if you post your question in the right forum there is a better chance of getting answers. This forum section is to introduce your own. Please also state which camera it concerns.
If you have connected the power supply correctly, I'm guessing that one or more of the cables runs past your horn.
When you use the horn, it generates a magnetic field which causes interference on your K2 causing it to temporarily shut down and have to restart.

New convertor on the way....$28 w/ free shipping...Thanks for the help. Will advise if it corrected the problem.
Thanks

once it cools down it works again. I have the “old” style convertor so I am working with them to get a new one.

Yes, I am using MP4 and I rechecked everything but I have the newer connections

Ok.Different approach.

Yes. Camera still works fine except at high speed. Gaps in coverage then.
When the Wifi shuts off, is the K2 still recording? Check the video at the moment when the Wifi shuts off.

What happens if you turn off your mobile data on your phone and connect to your K2 via WiFi.
And do you also use the latest app version and firmware version?
Have the same problem with the K2.
