Can I switch out my K2 DVR for the K5 so I can have a remote mick.

Except for the camera bracket of the rear camera, the rest of the parts are not interchangeable between the K2 and the K5.

Everything Hans said also goes for the K3. Just in case you wonder if you could swap the K2 DVR with the K3 :-)
