I installed the Innovv K2 2 weekends ago. I vampire connected the Yellow wire to a green wire going back to my turn signals or brake lights. The device powers on when I push the button in the middle but it's not powering on on it's own. So basically, if I remember to power the unit on manually, it records. When I stop for gas and don't take off the seat to power it on again, it doesn't record.
Anyone have this issue before? If so, how did you solve it? I'm considering taking it apart and looking to connect it to a different auxiliary source, I just want to make sure that may solve it.
Hi,
Please check again the connection between the yellow line and ACC.
This is for your reference.
I vampire connected the Yellow wire to a green wire going back to my turn signals or brake lights.
Connecting the yellow wire to turn signal or brake light would only work if ground is switched on these lights, which is uncommon. So I guess you connected the yellow wire to ground instead of switch power.
I would recommend to check again where you can find switched power and re-connect the yellow cable there (e.g. headlights).
Not knowing your bike and wiring colors i would say you have 2 option for it not working
1 linked off a switched feed.
connect your yellow wire to the innov to a ignition switched +12v
2 the connection point (vampire don't know that term) isn't making contact
re check +12v supply.
