I've managed to check the operation of the cameras and DVR after, eventually, getting the App on both Android and IOS to connect to the DVR i.e. I can see video from each camera in the Apps. However, when I attempt to connect with the App on both Android and IOS using 'settings' so that I can check/alter the settings on the DVR the App crashes each and every time. In my view the app on both systems is flakiest at best and crap at worst.
Does anyone have any ideas I can try?
Thanks in advance, Cliff
Sorry for delayed reply as the forum had been fulfilled with spamming posts in the last few days.
First, you can turn phone to airplane mode and switch on WiFi only, and then to connect App. it should be OK.
Second, please let me know which model the phones you have.
Unfortunately does not work for me! Samsung S9 - use to work fine....
Click below link to download Apk to your phone and see if it works.

Hi Rock, I downloaded and installed the APK on both of my Android phones and can now connect to the K2. I can view the footage from the cameras, but the app still crashes when I click the 'settings' button. But I can at least use the cameras now.

Hi Rock, I thought I would provide an update as the app now seems to be working fine.
I have the current App version on both my Android phones - a One Plus 3T and a Motorola X Style. The App version is 1.2.8. I've also upgraded/reinstalled the firmware to the K2 - the version installed is K2 20180925.
I've now been able to use the App on both phones to check/update settings so as far as I can see the problems I have been experiencing have now been resolved so I'm now a happy K2 user.
Regards,
Cliff
Thanks Rock,
Dowloaded your link and works fine!
