Does anyone out there have this problem with app not connecting to iPhone 11? It will connect for 5 seconds and then says in yellow lettering "no internet connection" there is exclamation point over laying the wi-fi symbol. It will only connect if I have airplane mode on and wi-fi on. Then it might connect if it feels like it. This what my iPhone 11 shows on the wi-fi screen.

Not getting anything because iPhone 11 won't connect to spo
Hi. I have just taken delivery of the H5 and had this issue, which I thought was a problem. I have an iPhone 11 and I think what happens is that the iPhone knows that its not connecting to a wifi network with a router etc, but a wlan network, ie with a mobile device, so it throws the message up but if you open the innovv h5 app its connected ok.
I don't know about iPhone, but an Android device remembers all Wi-Fi networks that have ever been connected to. This list is always scanned to see if the networks in the list are also active. If this list is long, it may cause problems. Clearing this list has helped me.
On my samsung A7 this list can be found at settings - connections - wifi - advanced - manage networks.
I don't know if an iPhone also remembers a list of all the Wi-Fi networks it's ever connected to. It's worth trying to find this out.
I also have the message 'no internet connection' on my Samsung and this is as Frostie stated. So there is connection with your H5 but not with the internet.
Hi Nathan,
It will connect for 5 seconds and then says in yellow lettering "no internet connection"
That's normal at some smartphones. It just wants to inform you that the current connected Wifi does not connect you to the Internet. My older iPhones does not show this message, but my Android does.
It will only connect if I have airplane mode on and wi-fi on.
Unfortunately this is is necessary at some smartphones. When connected to the H5 wifi, the wifi connection is added as an default gateway to the smartphone. But the mobile connection is also a default gateway. And and as the name implies, there can only be one default gateway. So when the App now tries to connect to the H5, the smartphones routes the request to the mobile connection and not to the wifi connection, which, of course, can not work.
Switching the phone to airplane mode also switches off the default gateway to the mobile connetion. So the only gateway left is the one to the wifi connection and the app can connect.
I don't know why some smartphone OS can handle this problem and some can not. My older iPhone and my Android has no problem. But the Android of a friend of mine does have the same problem as your iPhone 11.
