I've just installed my innovv C5 on my scooter, but the C5 app from Android refuses to connect with the camera despite successfully connected to the C5 WiFi on the phone, any suggestions??

Hello from Australia
Yes I had the same problem with the WIFI connection which is easily solved if you have a anti virus program like Nortons uninstall it that I found is the issue, if you require further information how I found out let me know.
It isn't the easiest to be sure.
The WiFi is local so you must connect to the innovv C5 signal first to do anything.
I do this and all works but after any interaction with the app for how I ride (using Google Maps and YouTube music) I must be online so I must remember turn the WiFi off and use cellular data. Also this means I have no live view option.
I have suggested a bluetooth connection to innovv btu I guess that would be a new DVR unless they could do it via a hardware update and dongle.
I had similar problem and it turns out because I had VPN active on my Galaxy S20 the Wifi would show connection but the app wouldn't. As soon as I turned the VPN off the app showed the camera.
Mine seems to take a short time, not that quick to connect but it does, out of interest what phone and android version, I am on Huawei P20pro android 10?
