Time-lapse photography is a technique whereby the frequency at which film frames are captured (the frame rate) is much lower than that used to view the sequence.

Apologies, big misinterpretation on my part perhaps. I have a timelapse feature on a Garmin and it condenses hours of travel to minutes, taking an extra capture at a lower frame rate.
The setting I'm referring to is the attached. Could not find any information and don't want to just experiment as everything is working well and I sure don't want to mess it up.
30fps means 30 frames per seconds, equal 1000ms records 30 frames, 100ms records 3 frames.
The options means,
100ms means 100ms records 1 frames.
200ms means 200ms records 1 frames.
So you will be clear, that there are less frames recorded in one seconds, that saves the video spaces.
The default recording from the C5 is 1080p 30fps.
fps is frames per seconds.
So it means one seconds the C5 takes 30 frames.

You are welcome, that is fine.
Is there any information available re the Time-Lapse setting in the App? What does it control/do?
