Purchased card with C5, formatted with DVR and I installed in glovebox of 2016 BMW R1200RT. This is powered by the USB which turns on and off with the key of the bike automatically. It worked fine for the morning ride but did not then did not record the next hour, then it went into "park" mode and then when bike started back up it did not record again.

I removed the card from dvr to look at video from yesterday’s ride where I was forced off road by driver on cell phone. I wanted to get his registration number. Well the newest video on the card was from three months ago. The c5 hasn’t recorded anything for three months and when needed it was a waste of money. Look at this forum and you can see that it is a constant battle to get any reliability. I will probably spend hours more trying to get it to work and for what? It can’t be trusted

This is the wifi shut off. You can press the wifi button once, and will see the green light flashes. a bit faster than before. then you can find WiFi for connection.
If you purchased a 64GB or 128GB sd card, insert SD card to DVR, and power on DVR, and format SD card via App. or you can press red power button to stop flashes and then press Green WiFi button for 8 seconds to format SD card.
Power on DVR again, it will start recording.
Ok... I have tried to disable the park mode but now C5 will not connect to my iPhone. Green light is flashing slowly but neither my phone nor desktop shows any other network to connect to.
I noticed someone else having this issue so I tried to reinstall firmware . The bin file shows in the directory but when the card is installed in the DVR the only response is the slow flashing green light. The card was purchased with the C5 from you
I will try it again with park disabled. I did format the card with the DVR. I am unable to ride bike. As of today I have a broken leg caused by going too fast on a track day at Thompson Speedway
I'd like to learn in to details what happened.
Can you make default setting, to disable park mode and see if such thing happen again?
Please always format SD card in DVR via App if it is new, and be sure there is stable power supply to camera system.
