as anybody used an aftermarket anti-vibration mount for the camera to reduce the amount of vibration seen during recording. the rubber washers provided don't seem to do a very good job and I was looking to use something like a silicone bobbin attachment does anybody know of a better solution?

I also had lots of vibration issues on the video captured from my 1000cc V-twin. :) I found a stable fairing piece (front of the nose cone) and used a GoPro mount that uses a really thick 3M VHB adhesive pad. Sorry for the bad picture, but you can just see it. I used a Biker mate clip to hold the camera, this has just the right diameter and has a GoPro connection.
I find the vibrations are now minimal, it's only when the engine is in a certain rev range that there's some vibrations on the video. (this engine produces really quite a lot of vibrations, enough to make me buy hand grips with gel :). Bad roads are also just fine.
I just returned from a 2 week/3000 km trip from Spain with this set up, I'm happy with it right now.
