Google Pixel and I-Pad Mini

Spent 3 hours trying to get my phone to work with the app. Wi-Fi finds it, but as soon as I try and open the app it shows the welcome page, but before it goes to all the settings, it goes blank. I then loaded the app onto my i-Pad and it works. The issue is I don't really want to carry my i-pad to use the C5 and it seems it doesn't support SD card updates or reformatting. Get an error message that SD card access is not supported at this time, or something like that. Pixel is a popular smartphone, so will this get resolved with the app?

The app works OK with Android on my HTC but I don't use the sound anymore because it is terrible. I am hoping they are still working on that issue.

It is worth using a high quality SD card and formatting it from the app prior to use and that worked for me. I just returned from a one week road trip where it was set to activate on movement, which it did quite well. I used a 64GB card which filled after four days and began to overwrite again.

Hi mark, the reason that the app doesn't work on your Pixel is probably the google system of your cellphone is the latest version of 8.0 while the APP is 6.0, thus, it caused the incompatible problem. We've already pushing this situation forward and help to get the problem resolved, trying to improve. Thanks for your advice and support, with which we'll be more and more confident to improve the quality of our product ! :)

@garybarber61 Hi gary, the terrible sound may because of the EMI released by the WI-FI signal which interfere the mic of the product. We've already pushing this situation forward to our engineer and help to get the problem resolved, trying to improve. The situation has improved with the last updates, but I still have to disable cellular internet access to make the app talk to the recorder, otherwise the app tries to access the recorder over cellular.

Once I cut the Internet connection all is fine and transfer works with ~3.3 MB/s.

I created a crash report when I am on cellular, I hope you can get is sorted out.

P.S.: I am using a Oneplus 3, also on Android 8.0.

@doomMasteR, have you sent crash report?

Did you follow up the instruction to do check?

I always send a crash report :-) and as said, as long as mobile data is on, the App crashes.
