I can no longer adjust the brightness using the app. Do you still offer this functionality? Used to be tapping the screen when it was not recording in the app brought up a brightness control.
Thanks for your reply. Can you explain what you mean by adjusting it through your phone? If the function has been removed from the app can you post previous versions of the app and software versions? Unfortunately it is too dull for the camera to be of use most mornings.
Thanks for your help. I uninstalled and reinstalled the APP but the brightness control is still absent, my phone is a HTC One. It would be great if you could give previous versions of the APP and firmware in the dropbox. I understand it is not ideal but it is better than nothing.
@innovv Thank you. The APP is 3.7.2 and the firmware is 0.45. I think they are both the latest. I never updated either on my last C5 and it worked perfectly for 2 years. Then I broke the usb and bought a replacement but I have had a little trouble with this one. Thanks for your help!
@innovv Hi, I am also confused with the brightness setting. Cannot find any. There is no backlight compensation either. Whenever I ride where a lot of sky is in the frame, the camera exposes for the sky and the ground view looks like night. Anything I can do about that?
Hi, Why don't you implement the brightness control? I understand there was one in earlier firmware and app. Why make things worse than they were? Pointing the lens to the ground is not a solution.
I'm sorry that our APP does not have the function to directly adjust the brightness.
You can adjust it through your phone. Thank you.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused, please uninstall the APP and reinstall it to see if the brightness can be adjusted successfully during use.

@frankrizzo How many firmware versions and APP versions do you use now?
I will ask if there is a previous version available for you to use.

Hi, Sorry that K2 does not currently have a choice of brightness, you can adjust the angle of the lens to avoid overexposure.
