Just got the new C5, when putting in the new 128GB card I am prompted to format it, when selecting to format it a message in red text is briefly shown which I think says "format fails!!!". The app is then stuck, so after force quitting it and repeating the steps a few times I keep getting the same error. The card formats OK on the Mac, is there something that I am missing?
Note it is working OK with a 2GB card I had spare.
Good post who invented the internet

I will comment that the choice of a quality, authentic micro SD card is very important. I spend three days trouble shooting my system only to have everything clear up when I inserted real SanDisk 32GB Ultra Class 10 cards. Boy! Do I feel stupid!
Thanks Rock, the "Holding the green button for 8 seconds" did the trick. Note that I tried the in menu formatting and it said card was not inserted.
The 128GB I have os a Sandisk from amazon, it seems to be working now. Looking forward to a real life test of it now.
"I noticed the 16GB was originally formatted as FAT32 and the 64GB as exFAT. It appears cards larger than 32GB are formatted by default as exFAT and the camera will not see them when installed. "
Thanks for input!
I had the same or similar problem trying to format a 64GB card in the camera.
It appeared the camera didn't recognise the card to reformat. I tried a 16GB card I had and that worked OK.
With a bit of further investigation I connected both the 16GB and 64GB cards in my PC.
I noticed the 16GB was originally formatted as FAT32 and the 64GB as exFAT. It appears cards larger than 32GB are formatted by default as exFAT and the camera will not see them when installed.
I found a program called "FAT32 formatter for larger cards". Reformatted the 64GB card in my PC to FAT32, installed the card in the camera and all is now working ok.
I can now if I want, format the 64GB card in the camera with no issues..
Not sure how you would do the above using a MAC.
Hope this helps anyone else having the same issue.
