Several months ago, an idiot on another motorcycle hit me head-on. My motorcycle was destroyed, and I was severely injured.
My Innovv K2 was recording, and the video evidence was helpful in proving who was at fault. There was no question about that, the insurance companies didn't even try to argue. The police also used the video to support charges against the irresponsible rider. He was speeding at least, and possibly intoxicated. I don't know what's happened in court so far, but I hope he goes to jail.
The police correctly concluded that the collision was entirely his fault due to on-scene evidence, but it was still good to have the video.
Recently, I've recovered enough to ride again, and have a new-to-me bike. I'm installing the K2 on my new bike as well. Fortunately, neither of the cameras were crushed. All other parts survived the crash and seem to still work. I'll know for sure after a test ride today.
I do need to replace the adhesive for mounting the cameras. Should be able to get some from an auto parts store. 3M Molding Tape is good stuff. It's not quite as durable as what Innovv includes with the K2 kit, but it'll do.
Good news! Test ride was successful and have been using the K2 since then.
No motorcycle I own will ever be without a dashcam. It's too valuable in case of a mishap.

So far the GPS is only tracking sometimes, but video is being recorded 100%. I need to check the connection of the GPS antenna. Appreciate your interest and offer!
Hello, sorry for the accident and hope you are getting well now.
Glad to know K2 offered a good help and provide the video evidence to the policeman and insurance company.
Please contact me free if there is any problem about the K2 after your test ride.
Take care and keep in touch!
