it worked for 30 mins at highway speed then quit. Now back at the garage, comes on for a few seconds and stops before I can connect to the wifi using the bike‘s battery power. With the USB it powers fine.
Hello , Thanks for your testing. I think your DC converter is not working properly , could you send me your purchase order invoice and your full name. address and phone number information by email? My email address is contact@innovv.com
So I have rewired, reset, and relocated the unit yet again. I can connect to the wifi now and made sure to jnstall the latest firmware. I have located the DVR under the pillion seat and away from the heat. I have also rechecked and rewired the yellow wire back to the 12v accessory plug. Will let you know the results.
I have disconnected, rewired, and relocated the DVR. I am hoping that relocating it will help capture the high speed recordings that I had previously been missing. Maybe it was getting too hot being under the seat?
It works fine at low speed but at high speed it is often missing recordings. I have checked and rechecked all the connections, but don’t have room under the seat to try a power bank (Yamaha R1 install). I’ll check the connections yet again.
Could you try to do this, please turn on your bike and not ride it, hold it still, and see if the video is recorded in the SD card.(please set the loop time to 3 mins)
If the DVR is working fine when the bike is turn on and not ride, then this the DC converter is not well connected . Could you check the converter connection again?
If first step can not solve the problem, could you disconnect the DC converter, and then power the DVR with a power bank (OUTPUT more than 1A, )though the micro USB port and see if the recording is working?
Please let me know the result after you test it, Thanks.
