This post goes out to everyone who has any Innovv gear - I have lots on both bikes and extra for my car. I'm interested in purchasing the Third Eye but not so much to use it for rear facing vehicle detection but for front facing deer detection when riding through the woodlands especially at night. Has anyone installed their Third Eye forward facing for this purpose before? Is it possible to attenuate the detection based on types of movement detected that would allow for a forward facing use of the system? any advice would be great - I'm still going to buy this device - buy two in fact one for each bike but would really like to know if it's at all useable in a wildlife detection use too.

I have no experience with the ThirdEye yet, hope to mount it on my motorcycle soon.
But isn't there a logarithm for detecting moving objects in the ThirdEye? So also taking into account mutual speed differences in a straight line with respect to the radar unit? I don't think there is a wide view to the side of the roadside where a deer might come from. In addition, the ThirdEye will not be able to see if this is a tree or a deer with a stationary object.
I think you benefit more from good lighting on the motorcycle than from the ThirdEye. Because if the ThirdEye detects something, you first have to see/hear the signal and then look at what the ThirdEye has detected. In the time this takes, it would have been better to just see what's going on in front of the motorcycle.
In addition, the ThirdEye will not be able to see if this is a tree or a deer with a stationary object.
By the way, I appreciate you looking at what other applications are possible for the ThirdEye.
You can always mount the ThirdEye on the front of the motorcycle and see what it detects. I would like to read your experiences..
