I am going on a long bike trip (4000 km) and wondering about saving files on the C5. Any suggestions? I don't really want to take a computer with me. I don't really want to edit or decide what I am keeping or not keeping during the trip. Any suggestions?

I have had the C5 for a few years now. My wife and I routinely take longer trips on the Goldwing. Our last trip was in excess of 10,000Km which would create hundreds of hours of video that I would never sit through and edit.
I installed a small switch on the wire from the Acc. While on holidays I can leave the switch in the off position until there is something that I want to save including audio from the bikes intercom system.
The down side is it takes 23 seconds after turning the switch on before it starts to record. Continues recording and incident recording are also defeated. You have to check how full the card is periodically so you can change the card and not overwrite earlier clips. (We hit a deer coming home from a trip last summer. Sadly, there is no film at 11. My wife, Myself and the bike suffered no damage)
I leave the switch in the on position for regular short rides because I have no intention of saving the footage (it can overwrite itself) but sometimes stuff happens.
The C5 has been a great camera and has been rock solid dependable.
The most praticabel way would be to use a mobile sd card backup solution. Simply said, this is a harddisk combined with a sd card reader and a powerbank. You can insert your sd card and it will then copy all files to the harddisk.
On youtube, you will find a lot of tutorials and recommendations.
